Recovery Voices CountRecovery Voices Count! Growing numbers of recovery community organizations and recovery advocates across the country are getting involved in non-partisan civic engagement activities so that their voices can be heard in the local, state and national arenas.

We Recover and We VoteFAVOR SC chapters are conducting voter registration and Get-Out-The-Vote activities and getting candidates for political office on the record about critical policies that will make recovery a reality for even more Americans. Check with your local chapter for more information.

The Faces and Voices of Recovery (FAVOR) campaign supports advocates who work to:

  • develop and implement public policies that support recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs;
  • break down barriers to recovery;
  • show the public and policymakers that long term recovery is a reality for millions of Americans and their families in communities across America.

Together, we are working to mobilize, organize and rally the millions of Americans in long term recovery from addiction, their families, friends and allies in a campaign to end discrimination, broaden social understanding, and achieve a just response to addiction as a public health crisis.
